"Cheers" on Steroids

Remember that friendly bar TV show (many, many years ago)Cheers? Well, this is Cheers on steroids.....actually it is a fascinating group of people who are broken and have decidedly left their blood families for one reason or another. Thursday Nights is about making your own family and all the good, bad and ugly that goes with it. Through it there are: hot men, gorgeous women, Sunday dinners, hot garage men, love, broken marriages, secrets and more secrets and well, you've got Thursday nights.
When I read this book, I was trying to get over the last book series I read "Undeniable" & "Unbeautifully" and this book brought me back to my ever book loving life. Yes! This book easily can be a stand alone & there is no cliffhanger. However, you'll come care about the characters as you get to know them, and in the end.....YOU know there will be another book about the next group of the self made family.........
Did not regret this book and definitely recommend it! Enjoy!

Amazing just simply Amazing!

Thursday Nights is a PHENOMENAL... SCRUMPTIOUS... HEART TANTALIZING READ!
First I would like to say that I could not put this book down and I am so glad I read it.I read it during this period where I was in a reading funk reading the same genre and needing something else. So I opened my e-mail to see that there was a cover reveal and a blog tour for this book. The minute I saw the cover I knew I would love the book. Once you have read the book you will see why the cover is such a perfect fit. God I have to say that I loved every minute of this book. Yes it has tortured souls and bad boys and bad girls with damaged hearts but at the crux of the story you get to see how even damaged souls need loving and if they allowed themselves to love again they can have a happy life.
Best friends Janie and Lyla have found a new hang out. Every Thursday they go to Danny's On Main which is a local bar. They drink and pick up men and have fun every Thursday night. They have become family to the owner of the bar and the bartenders who work there. Janie has even fallen in lust/love with one of the bartenders Max. He is every girls bad boy wet fantasy and he has stared in more than one of her dreams but Janie knows that Max is off limits. He is off limits because he tells women like it is they are an F and R and nothing more.
But one Thursday Max is listening to Janie tell her best friend about another disastrous date when he feels something in his gut. Yes protective of her and wanting nothing more than to bed her he is pissed that some guy could treat her wrong. But Max knows he could never ever give Janie what she needs because he is broken in more ways than one and he does not do relationships or love. But on this night he tells Janie they can be friends for the night, no strings attached and in the morning they can remain friends. They both agree because it is like an itch that needs to be scratched so they decide to have a one night stand. Max is good with that but Janie is secretly nervous because she wants Max in all ways just not a one night stand.
After Max and Janie spend one hell of night together things get complicated because Max becomes like the other men in her life chew and screw and have nothing to do with her. It becomes a little awkward at first but then they get back to their friendship and Janie decides it is time for her to move on and not look back. She and Max share some heated words and she ices him out of her life. She has to do this because she is in love with him but she knows he is not in love with her. She needs to save her heart from heart ache so friends it will be.
But something major happens to Max and he realizes holy s*** he really loves this girl but it is to late. True to her word Janie has moved on and is dating someone else. Max has decided he wants her no matter who she is with and he will stop at nothing to get her back in his arms and in his bed. Will it work? Will Max be able to get Janie back once she has moved on? Does Janie even want to go there? Has Max finally lost the battle with his heart? Holy Hades, Holy love Gods because this is one F$%^&# up story with so many turns and twists it will have you on the edge of your seat to the very last page where you are like OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book had two bada** alpha males and I loved it. first up is Sebastian Gage, "no reason to turn around, sweetheart. You know who I am. And everything else you need to know you can feel pulsing through your body right now. Enjoy your drink. I'll see you soon." Next up is Max DeLucca, "Janie, I love to hear the sounds you make. Knowing I'm the only man to ever get the real thing...God, you have no idea what that does to me." I know both Max and Lanie have crap to work out and this story is about them but in all honesty I was more interested in Lyla and Sebastian's story. I mean Sebastian is like protective, "I don't effing need it. I know you still feel some sort of loyalty to Kyle or...whatever. But Lyla...goddamn it." His nostrils flared. "She is mine." There was a little to much going on in the book and maybe should have focused more on Lanie and Max but I enjoyed it overall.
