About the Author
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Melissa Collins has always been a book worm. Studying Literature in college ensured that her nose was always stuck in a book. She followed her passion for reading to the most logical career choice: English teacher. Her hope was to share her passion for reading and the escapism of books to her students. Having spent more than a decade in front of a classroom, she can easily say that it's been a dream.
Her passion for writing didn't start until more recently. When she was home on maternity leave in early 2012, she read her first romance novel and her head filled with the passion, angst and laughter of the characters who she read about it. A surprisingly touching story

I was lucky enough to be a beta reader of Let Love In, and I have to admit that I was excited to read the book, but since I'm not a big fan of the romance/adult genre, I didn't expect to like it a whole lot ... and I really didn't expect to love it - as in, can't put it down, must finish in an entire session even if that means staying up through the night despite having to get up in front of people and conduct training sessions all day in a foreign country - kind of love it!
This book is captivating from the first sentence and keeps taking unexpected twists and turns and will ultimately leave you wanting more and demanding the release of the next book (even though this one hasn't actually been released just yet). The characters in the story are so well developed they feel like your own circle of family and friends. The heroine of the book, Maddy, makes you want to be as strong and courageous and she is. And Reid - well, he just makes you want.
Perhaps even more importantly, the story is sure to make you feel emotions right along with the characters. There are highs and lows. You find yourself whispering "no, no, no - don't do it!" along with "Yes! That's how it's supposed to be!" and your heart in turn sings with happiness, and hurts. It's been a long time since I read a story that actually made me cry, I'm just glad I was reading holed up in my hotel room and not on the train to work, because I don't think I could have held the tears back. And when that happens, a book is more than just a story. There are lessons to be learned here.
Maddy has a few goals in life, and without giving anything away, one of them to choose happy - and all I can say is this, if you want to choose happy, then choose Let Love In.t

I absolutely fell in love with the characters in this book! You could feel their emotions as you read the book. My heart broke for Maddie. She has gone through so much in her short life time! The magnetic connection that was felt between the both of them was so powerful but they fought against it! They both deserve a lifetime of happiness! I hope they get their version of happiness! I can not wait for the next book to come out! If you are looking for a great book then buy this one! You will love it!
